Gong Xi Fa Cai!

It is officially the year of the rabbit!  The kids celebrated at their school on Wednesday.  Our contribution to the party was chocolate chip cookies -- not very "Chinese" of us to contribute, but the plate came back empty so I guess it was okay :-)  The picture below shows the kids on their way to school (in the elevator) dressed for the party.

We enjoyed a very long weekend filled with relaxing, playing, swimming, eating, and laughing.  We didn't venture out to Chinatown this year like we did the past two years.  We just enjoyed family time and stayed close to home. 

While waiting for a taxi on the side of the road the kids made up a game.  They squeezed together around a tree as tight as the could, and then exploded backwards and fell down on the ground.  Their laughter was hilarious.  I happen to have my camera on hand ...
