For Memorial weekend we enjoyed a great family trip to Chicago! The weather was perfect and everyone had fun.

After walking around the city in the morning we went to the Willis Tower (aka Sears Tower) where we journeyed to the 103rd floor. So cool.

After the tower we took a pedicab ride through downtown and ended up near the Pier for lunch. The bicycle cab ride through downtown was crazy fun, complete with music and lots of smiles.

After checking out the beach we took a water taxi back to our hotel on Wacker Drive.

Great day of exploring the city!

And to round out the Chicago experience we took the L to O'Hare (all five for only $6!).

Tooth #2 for Jack

Turns out if the dentist has to pull a tooth out, the tooth fairy brings a little more $$!

Art Show

Art class at KP's art wrapped up this week and Jack & Kara had an art show at Ms. KP's house. They were proud to show off some of their highlighted work. So cute!

Mother's Day 2014

Matt and the kids planned an incredible Mother's day for me this year! I felt so special and enjoyed a day of relaxing. We were up early because we had to teach the first grade Sunday school class, but afterwards Matt and the kids made a delicious homemade brunch while I stopped by the salon for a pedicure. After brunch I got to take a nap and read for a bit, then we all headed downtown for dinner at Carmelo's (picture above). The best part of the day was definitely all of the extra hugs, kisses, and snuggles!
