Happy 1/2 Birthday Jack & Kara

December 26th marks the 6 month mark for Jack & Kara. What an eventful 6 months it has been!!

We visited the doctor last week and both are growing well:
Kara: 16 1/2 pounds, 26 inches
Jack: 15 lbs 13 oz, 25.8 inches

We are lucky to have such precious and healthy children and we look forward to getting a good night's sleep someday in the future :-)

First Christmas in Singapore

A very merry Christmas at the Diamond home this year! We took a ridiculous amount of pictures and rather than paste them all below, I have chosen the highlights. For anyone interested (e.g. the grandparents!) there is a link under photo albums called "Christmas 2008" with all of the pictures and videos.

And now the highlights...

Christmas eve started with Ainsley helping make sugar cookies. She was good at using the mixer on all 6 speeds making sure to shift speeds every 3 seconds and did a good job of topping sprinkles on the finished cookies as well as the kitchen floor. She really loves to help in the kitchen and it was a ton of fun. We spent Christmas eve enjoying snacks (Ainsley took a huge liking to the cheese tray and we lost count after her 8th piece of cheese), chili for dinner, and then enjoyed just being with family.

Christmas morning we opened presents. Ainsley loved all the new stuff and didn't seem to grasp that there was more for her to open after the first gift. Her favorite gifts were the inflatable dolphin, her new shoes, and all of the books.
Jack & Kara LOVED the dolls from Grandma and Grandpa D. Those bought us about an hour of silence today. Thank you :-)
The weather was actually chilly for Singapore, it only got up to ~80 degrees today, but we still manged some pool time. Most of the time was spent in the hot tub.

Merry Christmas to all!
