Grandma and Grandpa D are here! We are having loads of fun with them and the kids are loving it. Jack and Kara have been spending more time on the playground these days and Grandma and Grandpa D are enjoying the playground too, but not the heat!!!
Ainsley enjoyed her friend Rishab's birthday this week. First she attended his party at school (where she apparently ate 5 pieces of birthday cake!) and then again on Saturday at GoGo Bambini's.
Ainsley has no idea what real queso tastes like, but she loves the fake queso we eat here. The only way I could get her to eat her quesedillas was to tell her she could dip it in the queso. I guess that is better than a meal of just chips?
We went to Fidgets this weekend (an indoor playground) and on the taxi ride home Ainsley was entertaining us with her singing. She knows so many songs, it is really amazing how many songs she sings all day. One song she was singing was stumping us and we each kept trying to guess what song she was singing but she kept telling us "No!" The taxi cab driver finally let us in on the mystery -- she was singing a song in Mandarin! He understood it and got a chuckle out of all of us trying to guess what she was singing :-)
