Last week after career day at school Ainsley came home and told us she wanted to be a doctor. She was so excited about this decision and over the next few days as we tended to her many bumps and bruises she insisted that she was the doctor in charge. We, of course, were proud of her new career aspiration. We thought it would last at least a year. It lasted less than a week. She has now declared she would like to be a professional weed-eater. We passed a crew in our complex wearing red jump suits and hats and she immediately said that she wanted to be part of the weed-eater crew and wear the red outfit. Guess we can stop saving for Stanford. At least until the next occupation excites her...
(side note: the entire grassy area was being "mowed" by weed-eaters, there were 6 or 7 total clearing a very sizable area. Are there no lawnmowers in Singapore?)

No, there are no lawnmowers in Singapore! Not even the old manual push type...at least not that I could find. And you should see the reactions when you try to figure out how to mow the grass yourself. If you want to help Ainsley jump-start her landscaping career, she can come join while Ben and I cut our grass with scissors.
