Christmas 2015

For our first Christmas in Atlanta we embarked on some new traditions. To start with, we had our first ever real Christmas tree!

The Atlanta Botanical Garden Lights was such a treat! It was raining the night that we went, but it was still beautiful and we had fun despite the rain.

Gingerbread time! Jack was sick the night we made the dough, but the girls had fun making, rolling, cutting and tasting.

Unfortunately bad roof construction led to the "Gingerbread Pueblo" for 2015 :-)

Homemade Christmas ornaments!

Buckeyes with Grandma D! So fun ... and so delicious!
Buckeyes rolled and ready for dipping!

Dipping time!

Cookie making on Christmas Eve...

On our way to church for candlelight service at Decatur UMC...

And then back home for snacks and Christmas Eve cheer!

The day after Christmas the rest of the Diamond family arrived in Atlanta. The weather was warm and clear so we headed to Centennial Park for the ferris wheel and ice skating

We are very grateful that we could have everyone at our house for the holidays this year. We made some great memories!
