Family and Birthday Fun

We were so lucky to have Luke, Emma, and Heather drive a very long distance to come visit us in Austin! Such a long journey for them (from Ohio for Heather and from Tennessee for Luke/Emma) and we are grateful that we were able to spend a week with them in Austin.

Jack & Kara turned five this week and they were beyond excited! With family in town we did a family dinner to celebrate on Wednesday and saved the big party for the weekend. This pic was taken outside of Kerbey Lane Cafe after dinner:

While Jack & Kara are still very different, at five years old they are closer than any year before. They are both incredibly sweet, loving, and silly. 

For the birthday party we combined with their school mate, Kai, for a triple party at Jumpoline. Look at these cuties!!!

The cousins had a fun week together! Slumber parties, movies, games, wrestling, swimming, and lots of ice cream :-)
