Jack and Kara are one week away from their birthday -- and they seem to be growing up so fast over the past couple of weeks! When we went out to dinner tonight neither one of them used a high chair at the restaurant. We stopped using high chairs at home a long time ago, but at restaurants they couldn't quite reach the table. But now they are big enough and even sat still for the meal. (I exaggerate...they sat still for most of the meal.)
Other than celebrating Father's day, we just had a normal weekend. Pizza/beer/movie on Friday, swimming on Saturday, and lots of silliness.
Friday ritual of pizza/beer/movie is a treat for everyone. For the kids it is the only time we let them eat in front of the tv, and since we limit their tv during the week it is a huge block of movie time they are happy to get. For me and Matt, we don't drink during the week and this cold beer on Friday with pizza and quiet kids is a little slice of heaven :-)
Ainsley is still into stickers and made sticker artwork out of her legs...
