Fun in July

Rub-a-dub-dub three kids in the tub! We usually wash two at a time but sometimes all three are in the bath together. It gets pretty crowded in the tub but they seem to enjoy it.

Ainsley changes clothes several times a day and always has to "do myself" so her outfits are quite interesting. On a weekend day she goes through no less than 5 outfits a day. This weekend she decided she also wanted to play dress up with Kara so they both wore boots that Ainsley picked out. Until this phase ends you will see some very interesting outfit choices and we assure you we are not picking these out for her to wear!

Today we went to the zoo. We love the Singapore zoo and this was Jack & Kara's first time to go. All three had a great time.
Ainsley has a t-shirt with animals on it and insisted on taking it to the zoo with us and pointed out the animals we saw on her shirt. Here she is showing the zebra on her shirt and the zebras at the zoo...
Pretending to be a lion...
Kara pointing at the monkey's...
Ainsley and Kara watching the elephants...

Jack chillin' in his stroller... (we had to take him out of the double stroller because he and Kara would not stop fighting/biting/pulling hair/screaming, etc.)

Jack has fully recovered from his illness and is feeling better. Both Kara and Jack continue to make a lot of progress and are growing rapidly these days. They did really well with the transition to milk and while they still do a bottle in the morning and before bed, they use sippy cups the rest of the day. They are also transitioning to one nap, which is how we were able to take everyone to the zoo together!

We were bummed we didn't have our camera with us during a walk to the grocery store so we could capture this on video. Ainsley would stop and say, "Listen to me! I am the leader, you follow me. Okay? Let's go!" then she would proceed to lead us to the store and if we even thought of getting in front of her she would yell "STOP!" and repeat the entire monologue again. It was hysterical.
