Initially the government said to avoid large crowds and international travel, but otherwise not to be alarmed. However, over the weekend the situation escalated very quickly and we found ourselves limiting all social activity and advised to stay six feet from others.

Week #3:
New cases continue to climb in the US and in Georgia. The president announced yesterday (March 29th) that he has extended the social distancing guidance until April 30th.
On April 2nd, Governor Kemp issued Shelter in Place order for the state of Georgia. He also announced that all schools in the state will not resume for the remainder of the school year, so we will continue home-schooling until the end of May.

Still under Shelter in Place orders in the state of Georgia. Mid week the governor extended the shelter-in-place order for Georgia through April 30th. Each day the number of cases and deaths continue to rise...

At 2:45am Easter Sunday night, we were woken with emergency alerts for a tornado. The Decatur siren sounded too and we all took cover in our storm shelter. Luckily the tornado did not touch down and everyone was okay and back in bed by 3:15am.

Still at the lake. Definitely a big week for news. Mid-week, Governor Kemp decided to start opening some businesses - he started with hair salons, massage parlors, tattoo parlors, gyms, bowling alleys, and nail salons. More businesses openings soon to follow (next week).
