Ready for the magical Christmas season...

This year the Holiday Husky met an untimely death, after a passerby tackled him. Our dear neighbors, Sheila and Terri, surprised us and the kids by ordering a new husky just in time for Christmas. The kids were SO happy!

Ainsley's Birthday Party

Ainsley turned 10 years old!

On her actual birthday she was at a soccer tournament, so we did her party the following week. She and her friend Nia combined parties, at Stars and Strikes in Stone Mountain. Bowling, laser tag, bumper cars, and arcade games!

Thanksgiving Break + RV Trip

With a week off of school for Thanksgiving break, we booked a flight to Vegas and rented an RV for the week.

The RV:

Once we hit the road from Vegas, we drove straight to Utah.

The following day we drove through Death Valley, to California. It was a long drive...

We met up with Stephanie, Kevin, Ava, and Luke in an RV park near Sequoia National Park. Next stop: Sequoia Nat'l Park to see the trees!

Next stop: Back to Nevada for Thanksgiving dinner at Stephanie and Kevin's house in Boulder City!

For the final adventure, on Friday we took Kevin's ATV out into the desert for the kids to have some fun :-)

Kara's 5k Race

Kara participated in Girls on the Run for their fall program. She practiced two days a week after school, every week for 12 weeks, leading up to the big 5k race on November 13th at Turner field. We were very proud of her!
